For some time I was exploring the idea that Life is not about happiness as happiness in itself could not be a destination lest we all become lotus eaters and fade away into some form of narcotic blissful oblivion.

This view was based on the idea (and the practical experience) that it is possible to 'Generate Happiness' in the all but the most extreme situations by modifying ones perceptions Love what you do and deploying aspects of Invulnerability Theory mitigated by what I have called the Dylan Thomas Principal which mitigates against an early exit.

This initial proposition has been modified and while the destination is not about happiness unless you primary framework is The house by the Sea happiness, for most people, is essential to fuel your journey to whatever destination (if any) that may be present in the framework.

This topic covers the following aspects.

  1. General Principals of Happiness
  2. Happiness as a fuel.
  3. Joy being a delta of happiness, which is a delta of wellbeing, and,
  4. as a counter point despair being a delta of sadness, being a delta of depression.
  5. Happiness Generation, storage and consumption.
  6. Sadness reduction and management.
  7. Relation of happiness to other resources in Resource Theory specifically the PPP system Pounds Per Pleasure (Substitute Pounds for any currency of your choice).

This also links to the positive and negative Emotional Circuit Theory system, which simulates the flow of emotion between nodes (internal and external) using electronic symbols, components and circuit analogies as a way of analysing interactions within the self and the immediate reach.
